Sometimes it feels like I’m just making things up. I guess that’s kinda what this is anyway. Things get weird once the bye weeks have started and I’m moving around teams that didn’t even play. How much do you put into a loss or win in any given week? I don’t know. Let’s just get to the board:

Top 10
1. Niners – Will anyone knock these guys off the throne? I’m getting a little bored. They completely embarrassed Dallas, and they’ve got the Browns this week. Not much to say.
2. Eagles – Probably the only other team that can hold a candle to what they’re doing in San Fran. They’ve got the Jets this week, and the D-Line will be seriously overpowered against the Jets weak O-line.
3. Bills – Sometimes the Bills will just a lose a game, but they’re still probably the most complete team in the AFC. Great bounce back opportunity against the underwhelming G-men this week.
4. Dolphins – The offense is explosive, the defense is solid. They didn’t even play that well against the Giants and still didn’t really have any issues. The 0-5 Panthers won’t be cause for the concern this week.
5. Chiefs – Say what you want about Kansas City, they win football games. They’ll win another one this week when they host the clown show Broncos.
6. Lions – This is such a fun team to watch play. They really leave it all out there every week. No issues with the lowly Panthers. Intriguing matchup this weekend against a rested Buccaneers team, they’ll need to bring their A-game once again.
7. Seahawks – I imagine the Seahawks feel pretty good right about now. I hope they enjoyed their bye week, because now they’ve got to face a Bengals team that is looking like what we expected to start the year. Mark you calendars, this should be a good one.
8. Cowboys – Oh, Cupcake Cowboys, how I love to watch you suffer. But hey, this week maybe let’s not fall behind early and be forced to abandon the run game because I really need Tony Pollard to ball out for fantasy. Thanks in advance. Chargers on MNF should be a great game.
9. Chargers – Speaking of those powder blue goons, they’ll be coming off a bye week with some fresh legs. This game against Dallas could turn into a track meet, so they’ll need all the energy they can muster.
10. Bengals – It feels weird to put a 2-3 team at 10, but if the Bengals play like they did this past week, they deserve to be up here. They’ve got a dinner date with Seattle this week, and things could get spicy.
Shoutouts
I’d like to give a quick shoutout to the Patriots, for being the new worst team. Congrats! I’d also like to recognize the Bears for winning a game. How about a round of applause? One last bit of recognition here for the Colts, I don’t know why I’ve got you at 17, it feels a bit generous. But I like the grit, so enjoy it while it lasts!
As Porky Pig once said “Th-th-th-that’s all, folks!” Week 6 Picks —> tomorrow (maybe).
