Week 6 Picks: This Can’t Possibly Be Worse Than Last Week

After a rough Week 5, Week 6 has finally arrived, and there’s some solid games on this week’s slate:

I’m sticking to the theme of simplicity here, because I’m lazy and writing is hard. The Seahawks/Bengals game should tell us a lot about the legitimacy of these teams. The Colts/Jaguars game will be huge for the AFC South divisional race. The Buccaneers should pose an interesting threat for the red-hot Lions, and the Cowboys/Chargers game could easily turn into a shootout, depending on what version of that Dallas defense we see. As for the rest of the games, who cares? There’s some storylines there, but I just don’t feel like getting that deep today. Let’s move on to the bets.

Wow I give these guys a lot of money. It’s like taking candy from a baby. Let’s see what I can muster up this week:

Money Line: Texans (+108)

Spread: Lions -3 (-105)

Point Total: Ravens/Titans U42.5 (-105)

The Texans couldn’t possibly let me down two weeks in a row right? Right? Anywho, 3 points seems like a reasonable margin for Detroit to cover, and you better believe I’m riding with the Lunder for the Ravens/Titans, which figures to be a defensive struggle. That’ll wrap up it for now, I’ll see you cats on Tuesday.
