I’m moving on from Week 2 as quickly as I can. In this game, you’ve gotta have a short term memory. There’s some great matchups on the Week 3 slate, let’s take a look:

Matchups to Watch
Texans @ Vikings – This is a game that wasn’t on my radar to start the season, but now looks like it could turn into a pretty good game. Both of these receiver corps are pretty deadly, so expect the winner of this game to have played much better in the secondary.
Eagles @ Saints – This is the type of game that can set the tone for the rest of the season for these squads. If the Eagles drop to 1-2, people are gonna start pointing fingers trying to figure out who to blame. A 3-0 start for the Saints would be exceeding expectations, and go a long way towards winning what looks to be a tough NFC South.
Ravens @ Cowboys – A couple of perennial contenders off to a slow start thus far. The Ravens really need this win, so that’s why I like them in this matchup. Dallas could lose this weekend and still be tied for first in the division at 1-2 if Philly and Washington both lose as well. Baltimore just needs it more.
Lions @ Cardinals – Really close to taking the Cardinals here. I’ve been impressed with their offensive production so far this year. They can certainly keep pace with the Lions, so this matchup may come down to which defense plays better. I like Dan Campbell’s guys coming off a tough loss looking for some redemption.
Chiefs @ Falcons – It’ll be interesting to see how the loss of Pacheco affects the Chiefs offense. Will they be able to run the ball effectively? Will they need to? I’m not really sure, but I am sure that I won’t bet against Mahomes.
Look, things really can’t go worse than last week (I mean technically they can). And if they do, I may have to retire again. I don’t know if I can take the shame. I guess we’ll see. Tune in Tuesday for the results.
