Week 3 Results: Tuesday Woes

Last week, I said it couldn’t get worse. That statement did prove to be true, but unfortunately, it was more of the same. Another pitiful, 7-9 showing by me…Week 4 is going to be huge to get back on track. Let’s see the damage:

Some notes:

The Vikings must all be avid readers of mine and took my pick of the Texans as a form of disrespect. Sorry, Vikings.

The Saints offense came crashing back to Earth. In hindsight, I should’ve seen it coming. Too bad.

I can’t even explain away the Buccaneers loss. I’m still scratching my head. Gonna chalk this one up to “any given Sunday.”

Malik Willis has certainly earned my respect, it’s like he’s an entirely different guy in that Packers uniform. I think we may see Jordan Love this week though.

Browns is the Browns.

I was never that confident in the Bears anyway. Not too upset at this one.

Admittedly, I hadn’t considered the Andy Dalton bump for Carolina, plus the Raiders coming off a big upset win should’ve set off a red flag for a disappointing follow up. That’s just bad intuition on my behalf.

Even though both teams were pretty banged up, I really didn’t expect the Niners to drop 2 in a row. Rams needed a win, they got it.

As for the Bengals, it may be time to hit the panic button. They should get a win against the Panthers this week, and I’m sure somebody will get fired if they don’t. But also shoutout the Commies. They’ll have a decent shot at 3-1 if they can come out on the right side of a sure-to-be shootout in the desert with Arizona in Week 4.

Power Rankings out tomorrow. We’ll see you there.
