Week 2 Results + 2-0, 0-2 Analysis

12-4 again?? I’m due for a dud, surely. I can’t keep up this pace forever.

0-2 With A Chance

Chiefs – The Chiefs are never really out of the conversation. They should be able to get in the win column this weekend against the Giants. But the schedule isn’t exactly forgiving. Almost nearly all of their opponents are playoff-hopeful teams. But if anyone can put together a run, it’s the Chiefs.

Texans – The AFC South is historically a dumpster fire, but the Colts have been cooking and the Jaguars are frisky. Cam Ward and the Titans have shown flashes. They’ve also got a tough schedule. They’ve got a better chance of turning things around than most 0-2 teams, but it’s not looking good from here.

2-0 Potential Frauds

Bengals – The Bengals only fall into this category following the (likely season-ending) injury to Joe Burrow. Jake Browning is a very solid backup, but for a team with defensive woes that was relying on elite QB play from Burrow, this could spell disaster. Especially if Browning continues to turn the ball over.

Colts – They’ve looked good through 2 weeks, but then again so did New Orleans last year. I’m still not fully convinced that Daniel Jones can play at an elevated level all season. But I like them to make the playoffs the most on this particular list.

Niners – Injury concerns galore. If they can get healthy, I think this team will be fine. That’s a big “if.”

Cardinals – Wins over the Panthers and Saints aren’t exactly reassuring. But, you play who you play.
