There comes a time in the life of every random Midwestern guy who makes weekly NFL picks for a readership of two to three people where he must say to himself “I have no idea what’s going on.”
And in that moment, that guy has two choices:
Hang it up. Call it quits. Maybe enjoy a Sunday for once.
Or lay it all on the table. And give it a crapshoot.
Gettin’ Dicey
Rams/Jaguars (London) – If this was being played stateside, I’d be taking the Rams no question. But the Jags play across the pond so often I’m gonna have to give em the nod this week.
Panthers/Jets – The Jets, while bad, are due to a win a game at some point, and there are few opportunities on the schedule that present a real chance for a win. The Panthers are 0-3 on the road. If they’re gonna get one, this week is as good as it gets.
Colts/Chargers – The Chargers are slight favorites right now but I could see that flipping by Sunday. The Colts have been pretty consistent thus far while the Chargers have not played well the past three weeks. Seems like an obvious get back game.
