Week 10 Already?

It seems like only yesterday we were watching the Eagles and Cowboys kick off the year. And now, we’re firmly halfway through the regular season. Week 10 certainly has some…games. Let’s take a look:

I think Browns/Jets has gotta be the most interesting matchup this week. And not in a good way. But I like the Browns because of the defense and the Jets trading away defensive cornerstones Sauce Gardner and Quinnen Williams.

Jaguars/Texans is huge as neither team can afford losses in a crowded AFC playoff picture.

Pats/Bucs should be an exciting game between the current #2 seeds in each conference.

Rams/Niners is another important divisional game, as the NFC West is a tough 3-team race. The Niners are a perfect 3-0 in divisional play thus far. A 4th divisional win would be massive.

Steelers/Chargers – Are either of these teams good? The Steelers Jekyll and Hyde defense will need to take advantage of the banged up Chargers’ O-line that is now without Joe Alt for the remainder of the season.

Eagles/Packers – Have the Eagles addressed their internal drama during the bye week? Will we get more coded social media posts from AJ Brown? How do the Pack respond to their upset loss to Carolina last week? Hard to not like Green Bay in this spot, given how they perform against teams that are actually good.

And now, the Week 9 Results:

Colts/Steelers – This is the exact time of game that the Steelers win, so no surprise here.

Vikings/Lions – Can’t say I saw this one coming. Didn’t exactly watch the game either but divisional games are (almost) always close.

Panthers/Packers – Surprising on a few levels. Most surprising is Carolina winning on the road. Any given Sunday, they say.

Cardinals/Cowboys – Completely forgot that Jacoby Brissett was starting this game. Would it have changed my pick? Probably not. But I’d like to think that maybe it would have.

All in all pretty solid week. Need a big second half of the year here.

Probably sticking to the one post on Thursday format for the foreseeable future. Maybe I’ll bring Power Rankings back? You’ll just have to wait and see.
